TECHNICIANS

We’re excited to announce the search for results oriented Technicians, to join our team at the Metering & Field Services Department – Sophia, Georgetown.

Interested candidates with the requisite qualifications and experience are invited to apply for this position.

SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Senior Metering Technician, the incumbent is responsible for carrying out, quality & audit verifications, and consumer claims investigations, major and minor metering investigations and to make necessary corrective actions.

ESSENTIALS OF THE JOB:

1. Carry out Quality verification rechecks on major and minor metering installations, to ensure a high degree of work quality and accurate material accountability.
2. Conduct consumer claims investigation and provide reports.
3. Conduct major and minor installation integrity investigation and correct defects.
4. Be subjected to and comply with the requirements of the Safety and Health legislation, regulations and contractual obligations.
5. Adhering to the Standard Line Practice Codes and Safety rules of the Company.

6. To demonstrate his/her knowledge as a rescue operator to personnel in danger and to render First Aid treatment in cases of emergency.

7. Perform other duties that may be assigned within the scope of your employment, from an Authorized Officer.

   • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal & Oral)
   • Attentive to details
   • Basic knowledge of practical engineering science technology.
   • Ability to accurately make numerical analysis.
   • Thorough knowledge of the operations of Power Generation, Distribution and associated auxiliary equipment
   • Knowledge of Power Plant monitoring systems.
