Inventory Management Assistant
Job Description/Key Resonsibilities
We’re excited to announce the search for a results oriented Inventory Management Assistant, to join our team at the Revenue Protection Department – SHERIFF STREET, GEROGETOWN.

SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for providing assistance in coordinating and executing the Department’s daily activities in keeping with the Company’s operations and guidance to personnel within the said Department; thus ensuring conformity with these regulations.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Attend to technicians and contractors with queries and assist with resolving issues relating to materials.
- Compile data and produce reports relative to materials (weekly).
- Assist with on-the-job training of junior staff.
- Enter data to the relevant database in a timely manner in keeping with the Revenue Protection Department operational targets. (Daily)
- Ensure that data is accurately entered to material management databases to avoid any time delay in processing.
- Maintain an efficient filing system, as well as ensuring all source documents are kept in good condition and are not easily accessible by unauthorized persons within or outside of the department.
- Report immediately, any source document discrepancies or system discrepancies to the Supervisor.
- Assist with preparation of relevant reports.
- Complete and submit Contractor Invoices as per Department schedules.
- Ensure that all Material Forms are filed in the appropriate folders.
- Update databases, accurately.
- Ensure that stocks are stored in proper locations/demarcated areas daily.
- Maintain records keeping system according to standards.
- Prepare material requisition notes.
- Ensure all reclaim meters and materials are correctly entered in the Reclaim database
- Ensure that the work environment and area is kept clean and tidy.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned within the scope of your employment, from an Authorized Officer.

- Understanding of Stores Management
- Flexible and able to work in team
- Knowledge of appropriate internal Control
- High level of organizational skills
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Five (5) subjects Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) inclusive of English Language and Mathematics Grades (I-III) plus Certificate in Computer Studies with at least three (3) years relevant experience.
Remuneration – GE:4 Salary Grade
