DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR – FINANCE
Job Description/Key Responsibilities
The Guyana Power and Light Inc. invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Divisional Director – Finance
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible to plan, direct, and organise financial planning, financial analysis, reporting and management of the Company. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the financial viability of the organization, overseeing the completion and maintenance of all financial records and reports and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the accounting and supply chain management functions for the organization. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing and implementing financial policies and procedures and best practices.
GPL’s Divisional Director Finance is expected to be capable of managing complex assignments and multiple projects at same time, be astute and capable of ensuring that the Company maintains a prudential financial framework and keeps its commitments in balance with available resources.
