A load shedding exercise is being temporarily instituted today, Wednesday, June 5, 2019, between 08:00 to 16:00hrs and 17:00 hrs to 22:00hrs as follows:

 This is due to the unavailability of the submarine cable which links our Kingston and Vreed-en-Hoop Stations which developed a suspected fault along sections located approximately 0.5 km offshore from our Kingston operations.

Additionally, two generating sets at our Kingston Power Plant are unavailable due to maintenance requirements.

Our Company remains cognizant of the inconveniences associated with this load shedding exercise and will endeavour to minimize the duration.
